Welcome! I will accompany you on your path of self-knowledge and personal development through Sesame Therapy, using movement and drama.

I am Laura Amaia Leoz Wilce, Sesame therapist, social pedagogue and co-creator of the group Leyendas del Alma (LDA).

Before training as a therapist, I lived in Camphill communities in Ireland and Scotland, where I lived and worked with adults with special needs. During my time in Scotland, I studied Social Pedagogy and also joined an amateur theater group made up of community members of varying abilities. That experience led me to witness the change that drama can produce in a person, both in myself and in others. Looking for a way to unite my two passions, I found the Master’s degree in Sesame Drama and Movement Therapy in London.

Now I have returned to the Basque Country to bring my experiences and studies to those for whom they might be useful and to help spread the importance of mental health care to the place where I grew up. Through the group Leyendas del Alma we spread awareness of Sesame dramatherapy throughout Spain. To keep my creativity alive, I go to weekly dance classes and take every opportunity to walk through the beautiful landscapes that the Basque Country offers.
